actually i am surprised. really no statistical differences. i used to like the paper towel method (especially when i used to germ fruit tree seeds) if you only have a few beans to sprout. but if you sprouting multiple strains like 5+ strains, I find beans directly in soil is less hassle and wont get mixed up.
